This event will be held on Saturday the 7th April 2018, starting in Mansfield.

The event will start with a 98km cycle from Mansfield to Eildon – you will head out of Mansfield and turn right along the Mansfield-Woods Point Road, the road undulates and you will see a couple of arms of Lake Eildon. Just before getting to Jamieson, you turn right onto the Eildon-Jamieson Road and soon after the first big hill climb begins. Enjoy the descent and a few more undulations before the 2nd climb begins. There a few undulations on top of this climb and then a descent almost all the way to Eildon. Turn right at the Goulburn-Valley Highway and veer right onto Pinniger Road (don’t go into Eildon) and ride along to where Pinniger Road crosses the Goulburn River heading to the Dam Wall. Turn right when you see the transition area. Rack your bike and head to your kayak.

The kayak transition area is next to the Eildon Alliance Boat ramp on a gravel area – we recommend you bring stands for your kayak or at least blankets to put under your boat.

The 2nd leg is a 25km paddle from Eildon to Bonnie Doon. You will zig-zag your way through the river arms, guided by boats and landmarks. The closer you go to each corner, the shorter your paddle will be!

To finish you run a 21.1km half marathon mostly along the rail trail from Bonnie Doon to Mansfield. On a clear day you get a great view of Mt. Buller while running.
